Indications and Usage
Topical, antimicrobial skin cleanser formulated for the treatment of patients with compromised immune systems. Proven effective in controlling skin eruptions and topical infection in Diabetic, HIV, Dialysis, and oncology patient care. High-lathering, free rinsing cleanser for professional patient bathing or as an antibacterial shampoo. CC-500® is a concentrate and demands very little product in routine usage. Contains moisturizers to soothe tender, dry skin of the geriatric patient. Excellent for usage on dialysis patients or in cases of skin odor or maladies demanding dermatological treatment and relief. Consists of the maximum level of surfactancy which aids in the removal of organic materials. Extremely effective in alleviating dermatitis and acne. Also effective in the treatment of Acne Mechanica, an acneiform eruption in athletes.
Clinical Pharmacology
CC-500® is a synergistic blend combining cationic, ionic and anionic surfactants with emollients to promote natural turgor and prevent dryness, scaling and dermal irritation. Hydration properties replenish natural emollients in dermal tissue promoting healthy tissue and skin turgor. Active antimicrobial agent rids skin of contaminants.

Dosage and Administration
Anti-Infective - Hand Degerming
CC-500® is a concentrated, antimicrobial cleanser designed specifically to reduce the risk of skin breakdown and prevent the spread of infection. Use in daily hygiene programs, full body including hair and scalp. Use for medical personnel to reduce the risk of cross-contamination and aid in healing over-worked or chemically damaged hands.
Therapeutic Patient Care
CC-500® has been proven to be clinically effective at eliminating the sources of microbial infection at the exit site in dialysis patients and/or around ostomy sites to prevent skin breakdown. CC-500® can be used as a foot soak additive for diabetic feet maladies to eliminate odor and reduce the risk of tissue breakdown and bacterial infection. Diabetic patients should bathe daily in normal manner with CC-500®.
